Sham tagged me to talk about my favorite city or the city I love…I thought alot and I couldn’t pick a single one…all my life I’ve been moving around and I got to have many wonderful memories from different cities…each one has its own magic…each one has its very special value in my heart…

So in order to be fair with these lovely cities, I won’t pick one of them. Instead, I’ll talk about a very beautiful place here in Lebanon, Tyre.

Tyre (Sour in Arabic) is a city on the Mediterranean coast of southern Lebanon, located 19 km north of the border with Palestine, 40 km south of Saida and 83 km south of Beirut. It’s considered the fourth largest city in Lebanon. It was also a major Pheonician seaport.

Why do I love the city? because it’s a great place to be. End of Story!

Okay I’ll talk more…

1. VERY friendly people, you see them smiling all the time. What I love about them is their patriotism and their love towards their land. During the last war, many refused to leave their home and those who left came back on the same day the cease-fire started. actually that applies to all the people living in the south.

2. A WONDERFUL beach. To me, it’s the best in Lebanon, either if you’re going to swim, sunbathe or just hangout, you will have the best time of your life. The resorts there are beautiful and each one is unique. please don’t ask for photos and remind me of not taking good photos when I went 🙁 I was busy enjoying the sand, sun and sea 😀

3. If you’re planning to go there soon, DO NOT miss a hot cup of coffee in one of the cafes at the beach and watch a beautiful sunset there.

5. My only true close bestfriend is from Tyre, that’s how I got to go to this very nice city..actually I was going there this weekend to take some photos to post in this tag but I couldn’t go. I will next weekend and this photo was not taken in Tyre
