I saw this e-mail few minutes ago, the message read the following:

Please find below an initiative, by a group of non-affiliated citizens, that is a great opportunity for us to SAY NO TO CIVIL WAR. I hope we will be all together, as CITIZENS, on Saturday, February 10 at 14:00 at Beshara El-Khoury area. Also, visit the website www.resolveitsolveit.org to register in the Human Chain and to sign the petition that will be sent to the politicians by Monday, February 12. Lebanese Citizens all over the world are invited to participate in this campaign by signing the petition and organizing similar actions in other cities. You can also help by posting it on your Blogs.

The more we are, the louder our voice will be…

See you there,

It’s nice, I don’t want a civil war, I hope everything will be alright, just like that, I can dream, can’t I? But seriously, I’m not optimistic at all!! do you REALLY think that it would move those politicians?!?! Come on!!! we reached a point where we need to sign petitions and get down to the streets and beg a bunch of politicians not to bring us WAR?!?! is it too much to ask for that it needs petitions and gatherings?! Or maybe I’m just too naive to think that the job description of these politicians includes that by default!!!
You know what?! we deserve it…it was us who brought them in the first place!!!

Anyway, I live there and I still have some hope so I’ll be there; not at 2:00 though because at that time I’ll be finishing my first final for this semester…wish me luck!
